For salt pools, the ideal salt content is usually measured in parts per million (ppm),
generally in the range of 3,000 to 4,000 ppm (or 3.0 to 4.0 grams per liter), which is
considered the ideal range for the chlorine generator to function.

Regular salt testing with a dedicated salt pool testing tool is essential
to ensure that salt levels remain within recommended limits.

If the level is too high or too low, it can be adjusted by adding salt or
diluting the water.
